As we wrap up the year that was 2023, we want to reflect on all that we’ve accomplished over the past year.
Milestones and wins
In 2023, Dale Parkes, founder of Unique Health Products, won the Trailblazer Award at Naturally Good in Sydney. This award celebrated Dale’s unparalleled impact on the industry over more than 25 years.
We were also thrilled to receive recognition from WholeLife as their Health Food Supplier of the Year, an example of the importance we place on our relationships.
It was 10 years ago this year that we first embarked on our partnership with CLIF. Over the last decade, CLIF has gone on to become Australia’s #1 selling plant-based energy bar brand.
At the end of 2022, we launched our new website, which has been one of the great successes of 2023. It’s never been easier to do business with us, with an intuitive website that makes ordering simple. To support the new website, we also launched the Grow magazine, keeping you up to date with the latest trends and products in the industry.
2023 by numbers
Our annual Christmas party is a chance to take time out to celebrate our successes and the incredible Uniquers who make it happen. This year we headed to the Sunshine Coast Hinterland for an afternoon of nostalgic games on the lawn, live music and a delicious vegan high tea. It was a fitting end to 2023!
At our Christmas party, we were blown away by some of the numbers our teams shared to demonstrate their achievements for the year, including:
- 280,000... km driven by our on-road sales reps, the equivalent of driving around Australia 19 times
- 96%... our industry-leading order fulfilment level
- 531… the new products we launched across 70 different brands
- 4,000,0000… products checked and inspected
- 2,196,719 kg… freight sent around Australia, equivalent in weight to 11 Boeing 747 jets
- 27,000… distance travelled on our forklifts, enough to drive from the Sunshine Coast to Perth and back four times
- 445,346… Unique cartons dispatched to our customers
Looking forward to 2024
We close the door on 2023 with much anticipation for the year ahead. Our business is to grow yours and that is what we will continue to do in 2024.
